The cool to moderate 2022 growing season\u003cbr\u003eresulted in Cabernet Sauvignon benefiting from extended time on the vine prior\u003cbr\u003eto harvest. The 2022 Richardson Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced\u003cbr\u003eentirely from Block 36. A small, one Hectare plot planted in 1996, Block 36 sits\u003cbr\u003eon the upper north-west facing hillside section of Blue Pyrenees Estate on\u003cbr\u003esandy clay loam and quartz. This combination of aspect, exposure, and soil type\u003cbr\u003ealong with vine maturity results in Cabernet Sauvignon of great substance, flair\u003cbr\u003eand varietal typicity.
